With the English-language content on our website, we primarily appeal to people in our environment whose children or who themselves are interested in our projects and who understand English better than German – or to people from abroad who would like to book accommodation in our guest house.
Please note that we do not normally offer seminars in English. With a few exceptions, our international meetings are bilingual (i.e. german-polish) with language mediation. Other projects are carried out in German. Nevertheless, participants who do not yet speak German very well are of course welcome.
Sometimes we organise seminars with language support in Dari, Farsi, Arabic or other native languages of participants. If this is the case we will explicitly inform you in the program text and flyer.

Unsere Jugendlichen verdienen Toleranz und Freiheit! (2024-09-06)
Am vergangenen Dienstag hat die AfD-Fraktion im Brandenburger Landtag gefordert, dem Landesjugendring Brandenburg e.V. seine Gemeinnützigkeit abzuerkennen und die Förderung zu entziehen. Das betrifft 39 Jugendverbände und damit eine riesige Anzahl junger Menschen, die sich für die Zivilgesellschaft engagieren, gemeinsam Sport machen, sich für die Umwelt einsetzen oder schlichweg auf dem Weg zum Erwachsenwerden sind. Außerdem will die AfD das Netzwerk "Tolerantes Brandenburg" abschaffen, sollte sie Wahlsieger am 22. September werden. Wir möchten hiermit unsere ganze Solidarität gegenüber den beiden Organisationen ausdrücken und außerdem alle wahlberechtigten Brandenburger*innen aufrufen, für die Demokratie wählen zu gehen! Tut es für euch, tut es für die Chancen junger Menschen in diesem Land.

Projects for girls* in october (2024-09-04)
From 3rd to 6th October and from 11th to 13th October we invite girls* aged 12 and over to an exciting exchange. As part of our body project "Bodyclash", the first event is about clothing and the stories it tells. Of course, a fancy dress party shouldn't be missing. The second project takes place on the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child. We attend the celebrations together in downtown Potsdam and then spend days of solidarity in our education center.
